BAMBOLIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Thursday inspected the completion of the third slab of the Tertiary Cancer Care Centre (TCCC) at Bambolim, marking a key milestone in the State’s efforts to strengthen advanced healthcare facilities.
Rane said the project will soon see two additional floors being constructed, with a special focus on dedicated services for cancer patients. “The TCCC will not only offer state-of-the-art infrastructure but also integrate affordable access to lifesaving therapies through PPILT, mega medical camps that take detection-to-cure facilities to people’s doorsteps, and early cancer screening powered by AI,” the minister stated.
He added, “This centre reflects our commitment to a people-first healthcare model. Goa is setting benchmarks in line with the vision of Antyodaya — reaching the last person first and ensuring ‘सबको स्वास्थ्य, सबको सम्मान.’”
The Health Minister underlined that the TCCC will serve as a flagship institution, combining advanced treatment with accessibility and affordability, furthering Goa’s model of healthcare for all.
