PANAJI: Goa is all set to open for tourism activities from the coming month, as the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today announced that fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed to enter the State.
“Government supports media including the welfare of media persons by implementing various schemes in their interest. I appeal to the communicators to spread the message of starting of tourism activities in Goà,” said CM Sawant
He further said that those who have taken both doses will be permitted to tour Goa.
The TTAG, however, had insisted that tourism should be restarted at the earliest but with all safety protocols in place. The association’s chairman Nilesh Shah suggested that only people who are fully vaccinated should be allowed to enter the state.
CM said that Public Relation Council of India is doing a remarkable job by motivating youth and making them dedicated for the cause of nation-building.
He appreciated the initiative of PRCI for awarding persons from different fields as recognition towards their achievement which he said inspire them to do better.
