Team Goemkarponn
Panaji: The Goa Football Association (GFA) has announced the state team for the Junior Boys’ National Football Championship for the Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy 2025–26. Goa will compete in Tier 1, Group A, alongside Delhi, Telangana, and host team Punjab. The prestigious tournament will be held in Amritsar, Punjab, from July 20 to July 30, 2025.
A total of 20 players have been selected to represent Goa in this national-level competition. The selected players include Aaryav Da Costa, Abner Viegas, Messi Fernandes, Shlok Govekar, Elrad Braganza, Nahum Dsouza, Amstrong Fernandes, Wayne Colaco, Emmanuel Gama, Messi Rebello, Bryson Dias, Rahul Sherpali, Crossley Dias, Andreas Furtado, Crizman Correia, Musab Shaikh, Kashinath Halankar, Ashwel Mendes, Messi Colaco, and Clizer Noronha.
The team will be led by a dedicated support staff comprising Laxman Hadfadkar as Manager, Shane Temudo as Head Coach, Gopi Gad as Assistant Coach, and Saiel Naik as Physiotherapist. The squad is scheduled to leave for Punjab on July 18 and will play its opening match against Telangana on July 20.
The GFA has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform well and wished the players success as they represent the state on a national platform.
