Panaji: Goa Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao.has called for unity amongst people of all faiths to work unitedly towards genuine peace and progress.
In his New Year’s message, he said, “As we look back at 2020, our general feeling is that the year has not been good. Whatever the new year has in store for us, we can make it better by resolving to live more as one human family, with the world as our common home.”
Further, he added, “fighting challenges like individualism and indifference towards other people’s faith and culture, may we forge ahead to work unitedly for genuine peace and progress in our land, especially in our little State of Goa. As I wish everyone a New Year full of divine blessings, I pray that we may all embrace this ideal.”
