PANAJI: The Goa Badminton Association (GBA) on Tuesday distributed official kits to the state teams gearing up for the Yonex-Sunrise Inter-State West Zone Badminton Championships 2025, which will be held from September 3 to 6 at the Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji.
The distribution ceremony was held in association with GBA’s official equipment partners Victor and Cappella. Present on the occasion were GBA officials Manoj Patil (President), Praveen Shenoy (Secretary), Parag Chauhan (Organising Secretary), Navneet Nasnodkar (Coach), Anup Kushwaha (Coach), Sanjay Bhobe (Team Manager), Vrushali Cardozo (Vice President), and Dr. Deepak Mayenkar (Advisor).
Senior shuttler Tejan Fallary has been named captain of the Goa team, which will aim to deliver a strong showing against some of the finest talent from across the West Zone.
The GBA expressed confidence that the young and experienced mix of players will make their mark at the prestigious championship and bring laurels to the state.
