Panjim: Goa made a strong start on the opening day of the 14th Modern Pentathlon National Biathle & Triathle Championship held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, clinching two bronze medals.
In the senior women’s Triathle event, Pratiksha Velip secured the bronze medal with an impressive timing of 18.57 minutes. Meanwhile, in the junior men’s Triathle category, Udesh Majik added another bronze for Goa, clocking 13.42 minutes.
The championship witnessed participation from top athletes across the country, marking a promising beginning for Team Goa in the national competition.
