Panaji: The Annual General Body Meeting and Elections of the Goa Basketball Association (GBA) will take place on May 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Conference Hall, Goa International Centre, Dona Paula. These elections will determine the new Managing Committee for the term 2025–2029.
As per the official election schedule, the last date for filing nominations is May 5, 2025, by 12 noon, with the scrutiny of nominations on May 8, and the final date for withdrawal on May 19. Advocate Ana Clara Ejipsy E. Remedios has been appointed as the Returning Officer to oversee the electoral process.
The elections will be conducted in strict compliance with the National Sports Code, ensuring adherence to all eligibility criteria, including age and tenure restrictions, along with other mandated provisions.
All election-related forms are available at the GBA Offices located at Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim (North Goa) and Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda (South Goa) between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Forms have also been circulated to all affiliated members via email.
