PANAJI: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) today declared the HSSC 2023 results with a pass percentage of 90.64%.
As per information from the board, 17686 appeared for the examination, of which 16030 passed the examination.
The Board Chairman Bhagirath Shetye said that the passing percentage of boys is 88.69% and girls are 92.41 per cent.
“The Goa Board HSSC 2025 results recorded a pass percentage of 90.64%, reflecting a 5% increase from last year. This improvement showcases the dedication and effort of the students. The rise in pass percentage signifies a positive trend in overall performance across all streams,” said Shetye
Commerce saw a pass percentage of 93.31.%, science saw 91.03%, and arts saw a pass percentage of 93.03% at the Class XII exams of the Goa Board.
The HSSC exams 2025 were conducted from February 10 to March 1, 2025. Additionally, the result booklet is now available on the official board website. The schedule for mark sheet collection will be announced soon.
Mark sheets will only be distributed through authorised school representatives at the IT section of the board office. Parents and students will not be allowed to collect mark sheets directly.
This year, 17,686 regular candidates appeared for the Class 12 board exams, including 8,462 boys and 9,224 girls. The exam also saw the participation of 138 private (fresh) candidates and 24 private (exempted) candidates.
