Panaji: Goa made a strong mark at the 10th Mini Under-14 National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, held at the Karnail Singh Stadium in New Delhi from 18th to 20th August 2025.
The Goa boys’ team emerged as champions, defeating Western Uttar Pradesh in a thrilling final, while the Goa girls’ team finished as runners-up after going down to Tamil Nadu in the title clash.
The tournament witnessed participation from 32 boys’ teams and 18 girls’ teams from across the country, showcasing exciting young talent in the fast-paced format. The event was organised under the banner of the Tennis Ball Cricket Federation of India.
Goa’s strong performance highlighted the state’s growing presence in the sport at the national level, with both teams displaying grit and determination throughout the championship.
