PORVORIM: Goa Forward Party (GFP) and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai today called the budget disappointing while claiming that it has nothing to beat the financial crunch.
“Goa is already facing a bigger fiscal deficit due to the massive fiscal mismanagement of the Pramod Sawant government, and to add to our woes, nothing quantifiable to add to our woes, nothing quantifiable has been granted to Goa,” said Vijai.
He further slammed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s failure to fulfil and implement last year’s budget.
Sardesai claimed that there are 18 departments which have zero fulfilment, and the action taken report is an admission of failure of the Government.
“He should complete the previous budget first. Swayampurna and atmanirbhar are only slogans,” he added.
