PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a high-level security review meeting to enhance the preparedness and response mechanisms of all relevant departments, including State and Central security agencies.
The discussions focused on improving inter-agency coordination, streamlining communication, and ensuring swift and effective action in case of emergencies.
Commenting on the meeting, CM Sawant said, “The safety and security of our citizens remain our utmost priority,”
He further said that Collective and coordinated efforts across government departments, tourism stakeholders, and police forces are essential to effectively mitigate risks and manage any future contingencies.
With heightened security measures and robust preparedness protocols in place, we are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.”
The review emphasized proactive planning, timely response, and constant vigilance to safeguard citizens and maintain public order across the state.
