SANQUELIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) and the Public Works Department (PWD) to expedite the completion of the playground’s rooftop work at Government College, Sanquelim.
On Monday, the CM emphasized the importance of timely completion and effective management of infrastructure projects during a thorough examination of numerous projects at the college.
In addition to the rooftop playground project, he also assessed the new postgraduate block’s development and urged prompt action to finish the remaining tasks at the girls’ hostel in Veerangana.
Sawant also emphasized how important it is to keep the hostel canteen clean, maintained, and run effectively. Enhancing student placement options and guaranteeing their safety and security on campus were also major topics of discussion.
Following the review, in which he was joined by Education Secretary Prasad Lolayekar, Director of Education Bhushan Sawaikar, and other representatives from the relevant departments, he declared, “Our commitment to nurturing the students for a bright future is strengthening the infrastructure of educational institutions along with the academic environment.”
