PANAJI: KalaGurujan 2025 was officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, marking the beginning of a unique confluence of Goa’s teaching fraternity with its vibrant cultural heritage.
The event, held at the heart of the state, brought together over 800 teachers from 40 Higher Secondary Schools, showcasing their creative expression through art, performances, and cultural activities.
During the inauguration, Dr. Sawant emphasized the significance of the event, highlighting how it blends the rich cultural spirit of Goa with the academic brilliance of its teaching community.
“This initiative beautifully aligns with the New Education Policy, fostering an environment where tradition meets transformation,” said Dr. Sawant.

The Chief Minister further expressed his hope that KalaGurujan would become an annual tradition, enriching the educational landscape of Goa.
“Such initiatives are essential in shaping holistic, value-driven citizens who will guide the state into a promising future,” he added.
