Canacona: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Goa Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Board Sub Yard at Nagarcem, Canacona, in the presence of Cabinet Minister Ramesh Tawadkar and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sawant said that the new facility will further strengthen Goa’s agricultural infrastructure, empower local farmers, and promote sustainable rural development in the Canacona region.
He commended the efforts of the Goa Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Board and all stakeholders involved in making the project a reality.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the state’s farming community by enhancing market access, storage facilities, and value-chain systems, ensuring that Goan farmers receive the recognition and fair returns they truly deserve.
