PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Skill India Conclave 2024 organized by Ganpat University and GIME Foundation under the theme ‘Empower Excel Employ’, and unveiled the GUNI-IBM Scholarship for meritorious students of Goa, in the presence of Pro Chancellor of Ganpat University Dr.Mahendra Sharma.
“I congratulate Ganpat University for setting up a base in Goa and offering courses in Marine life. PM Narendra Modi has laid emphasis on Skilling, and initiated programs like Skill India and the Govt of Goa under Swayampurna Goa 2.0 is working on Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling.” Said Sawant
The CM Apprenticeship Scheme, various MoUs with corporates like Tata Group for the Skilling Goan Youth are yielding results and putting the state on the path of development.
