In the sacred city of Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, a significant gathering of global temple leaders is underway from February 17 to 19, 2025. The International Temple Convention & Expo, dubbed ‘Mandir Ka Mahakumbh,’ has brought together esteemed dignitaries and representatives from over 1,500 temples worldwide. Among the notable attendees is Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, who shared the stage with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and other prominent figures.
Dr. Sawant extended his heartfelt congratulations to the organizers of the event, Temple Connect, led by Prasad Lad and Girish Kulkarni, for hosting this monumental convention. He highlighted Goa’s rich temple heritage, vibrant traditions, and exemplary temple management practices. The Goa CM reiterated his government’s commitment to strengthening cultural tourism, with a special focus on temples and pilgrimages.
The convention serves as a platform for insightful discussions on best practices in temple management and the integration of modern technologies, including AI, to preserve and enhance the sanctity of temples. Dr. Sawant expressed confidence that this event would foster meaningful exchanges among global temple administrators, contributing to the advancement of temple ecosystems.
