Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has joined the long list of politicians in Goa testing positive for COVID19.
Sawant himself took to twitter to announce the development saying “I wish to inform all that I have been detected COVID19 positive. I am asymptomatic and hence have opted for home isolation.”
He said that he shall continue to discharge my duties working from home.
“Those who have come in my close contact are advised to take the necessary precautions,” he said.
Ayush Minsiter Shripad Naik, Madkai MLA Sudin Dhavalikar, Thivim MLA Nilkanth Halarnkar, Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao are some of the leaders who have tested positive so far.
