VASCO: In a show of solidarity and political unity, Dr Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, graced the birthday festivities of Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar on Sunday evening.
Dr. Sawant reassured the residents of the Mormugao constituency about upcoming significant developments. “I am here to convey my heartfelt birthday wishes on behalf of myself and the Government,” stated Dr. Sawant, acknowledging Amonkar’s contributions.
MP Sadanand Tanavade, currently attending the Rajya Sabha, also extended his wishes for Amonkar’s special day.”
Dr. Sawant noted the palpable enthusiasm during the birthday celebrations, reminiscent of the recent 50th wedding anniversary of Amonkar’s parents.
“Just two days ago, he celebrated his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and I witnessed the tremendous enthusiasm and support. The same energy is evident today as well. I encourage the constituents to continue their steadfast support for Amonkar and the BJP party. I urge you to stand by him and the BJP party,” emphasized Dr. Sawant.
Emphasizing Amonkar’s commitment to his constituency, Dr Sawant stated, “When Amonkar joined the BJP, he did not seek anything for himself, but instead focused on the development of the constituency and the welfare of his people.
He has joined the BJP with the betterment of his people in mind, and his vision will be realized during the remaining three-year tenure. I share a personal and professional bond with Amonkar, and I assure him of my unwavering support. He is not only my close friend, but I will continue to stand by him. I will do my utmost to deliver the positive news that the people of the Mormugao constituency are anticipating,” concluded Dr Sawant.
