PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a crucial review meeting at Mantralaya to expedite the establishment of the new Veterinary College in Goa.
During the meeting, CM Sawant directed officials to ensure strict adherence to timelines and to ensure timely coordination with the Government of India.
The new Veterinary College, a long-awaited project, will play a pivotal role in enhancing veterinary education and services in the state.
Dr. Sawant emphasized that the institution should commence operations from the upcoming academic year.
The review meeting was attended by senior government officials who presented updates on the progress of the college’s development.
“The establishment of this veterinary college will not only provide quality education to aspiring veterinarians but also boost the overall healthcare system for animals in Goa,” said Chief Minister Sawant.
Officials are now focused on meeting the set deadlines to ensure the timely opening of the college and its readiness for the academic year.
CM said that his government is committed to further strengthening the infrastructure for education and healthcare in Goa.
