Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has thanked the people of Panaji for giving a decisive mandate to the BJP-backed panel in the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) elections, stating that the results reflect the public’s trust in the party’s commitment to development and good governance.
In a statement following the results, Sawant expressed gratitude to the voters for reaffirming their faith in the BJP and its vision for the capital city.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Panaji for giving a resounding mandate to the BJP-led panel in the CCP polls and for once again reaffirming their trust in our commitment to serve the city and continue the momentum of all-round development,” the Chief Minister said.
Sawant said the mandate reflects the people’s confidence in the vision of building a progressive, clean and well-governed Panaji, and added that the government would continue to work with greater dedication for the welfare of citizens.
He also congratulated BJP Goa President Damu Naik, Revenue Minister Atanasio “Babush” Monserrate, the BJP Panaji and Taleigao Mandal teams, party candidates and karyakartas, acknowledging their hard work and efforts in securing the victory.
