PANAJI: Congratulating Department of Information and Publicity,Chief Minister said this edition of Nave Parv marks the relaunch of the magazine that gives insights about the developments in the State.
Speaking further CM said the purpose of this magazine is to enlighten the citizens about the projects taken up by the government and various schemes meant for the betterment of the people. The magazine covered success stories of individuals and the other news from the State.
Chief Minister informed that the issue Nave Parva magazine will be published quarterly. The idea of the magazine is to bridge the information gap between the efforts put in by the Government and letting the people know about it ,he added.
Chief Minister also launched an online portal for Right to Information (RTI) services ,an initiative of Department of Information and Publicity designed and developed by the National Informatics Centre, Goa.The portal, accessible at www.rtionline.goa.gov.in, facilitates the electronic filing of RTI applications, first appeals, and second appeals, along with online payment options via debit/credit card, net banking, and UPI.
Some notable features of the portal include the ability to file and track RTI requests and appeals online, online payment facilities for RTI fees, provision for departments to provide replies and information online, as well as the ability to track second appeals, hearings, and disposal online. The portal also allows for the transfer of requests to other public authorities and provides alerts for pending requests and appeals to designated officers.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Smt Delilah Lobo, MLA and Vice Chairman ESG, Miss Ankita Mishra, IAS Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Society of Goa, Dipak Bandekar, Director , Department of Information and Publicity, Prakash Naik, Information Officer, Kiran Munankar, Assistant Information Officer, Sachin Chatte, Editor,Nave Parv, J.S.Rozario, Additional State Informatics Officer, Satesh Redkar, Technical Director, NIC and officials of the DIP and National Informatics Centre .
