SANKHALI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has sent a clear message to panchayat secretaries, warning of strict action if permissions for house repairs are not granted within the mandated three-day timeframe.
The chief minister said unnecessary delays in approving minor repairs are unacceptable and that public services must be delivered promptly. “Citizens should not be made to wait endlessly for such basic approvals,” Sawant remarked.
He also cautioned against any attempts to interfere with official processes, stating that disruptions to government functioning would be dealt with firmly.
The remarks underline the state government’s emphasis on transparency, accountability, and prompt service delivery at the grassroots level.
