PANAJI: Goa’s initiatives under the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PMSVANidhi) Scheme have been lauded at a national review meeting chaired by Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Minister of Power, Manohar Lal Khattar.
The scheme has now been restructured and extended till March 2030, reinforcing the vision of empowering street vendors and promoting self-reliance.

He highlighted that the revamped PMSVANidhi Scheme aims to deepen financial inclusion, accelerate digital adoption, and promote capacity building among street vendors.
“With enhanced training in digital and financial literacy, modern business practices, and better access to credit, the scheme is paving the way for a more secure and sustainable future for vendor families across Goa,” Minister Rane said.
The minister further emphasized Goa’s commitment to effective implementation of the scheme and creating an enabling ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurship and inclusive growth at the grassroots level.
The PMSVANidhi Scheme, launched under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continues to support street vendors by facilitating credit, promoting skill development, and strengthening socio-economic resilience.
