PANAJI: Congress Party in its bid of rejuvenating the organization today announced its new Media Department with Amarnath Panjikar as its Chairman of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee and Trajono D’Mello is promoted as the Media panelist who will co-ordinate with National Media.
In a press note issued here today GPCC President Girish Chodankar stated that the new Media team is declared after the approvel by the All India Congress Committee.
The new team comprises of Professionals like Architect, Journalist, Teachers, Doctor, and Advocates among others.
The new team will take the BJP Government Head on and Expose all its Misdeeds. We are in the process of finalizing the Media strategy and the consultation process regarding the same has already begun informed Girish Chodankar.
The newly appointed Chairman Amarnath Panjikar is relived from his current responsibility of General Secretary of the Party online with one man one post.
The first ever Media panelist in Goa Trajon D’Mello is a Senior Spokesperson of the Party and is known political Strategist. Architect
Tulio De Souza was part of the outgoing Media Team.
The new entrants are Senior Journalist of Goa Mahadev Khandekar, Advocate Shrinivas Khalap, Dr. Ashish Kamat, Altone D’Costa and Miss Pallavi Bhagat.
Congress Party had recently appointed a Youth Leader Himanshu Tivrekar as the Social Media Incharge of Goa in an attempt to reach out to the young generation. The Social Media Campaign against the consistent Fuel Price rise received overwhelming response from all across the State informed Girish Chodankar.
“I am sure that all the Members of the Media Department will give their best the ambassador of the Congress Party and exposing the failures of the BJP Government,” stated Girish Chodankar.
Media Department is one of the important part of any Political Party. Their performance helps in enhancing the image of the Party. I will extend my full support to the new team stated Congress Legislature Party Leader Digambar Kamat.
