PANAJI: The Gao Pradesh Congress Committee questioned the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the “Nari Shakti” today.
Addressing press conference GPCC leader Sunil Kaunthankar said the BJP has failed to protect Nari Shakti.
“BJP didn’t utter a word of condemnation in incidents of:-
1) Protesing Women Wrestlers against Wrestling Federation Chairman -BJP MP Brij Bhushan in sexual harrasment.
2) The Dalit women gang raped and murdered by BJP MLA whose body was burnt forcefully by Police at Midnight in UP.
3) The women who was paraded naked and mercilessly beaten up in Manipur,” he said.
Kauthankar said the BJP has “No Moral Right” to even say a word on Nari Shakti, shockingly even women leaders in BJP were silent.
He al;so pointed out that BJP President Tanavde Should formed a Three Member Committee with Himself, Sankalp and Milind Naik to devise a proper policy of BJP on Nari Shakti.
“Earlier Sankalp had accused Milind of Sexual Harrasment inspite of which Milind was shielded by BJP and given a ticket. Later the victim women complained against Sankalp of ruining her reputation so let this three leaders sit and have a detailed discussion and come to an conclusion as to who is against Nari Shakti,” he said.
