PORVORIM: The IPL Fan Park, an initiative of BCCI where the Indian Premier League matches are screened live, will be held in Goa on May 6 and 7, 2023, at Open Ground, Adjacent to Service Road opposite Delfinos Megamart next to GCA Porvorim.
It is a non-ticketed event and free for all IPL fans. The venue opens to the general public from 1.30 pm to 12 am.
Four matches will be screened Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians at 3.30 pm and Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore at 7.30 pm on Saturday,
May 6, Gujrat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants at 3.30 pm, Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad at 7.30 pm on Saturday, May 7.
The main highlight will be the 32’x18’ LED on which the cricket match will be screened live for the audience. The event arena will also see fan engagement stalls by IPL, its sponsors and the participating franchisees. This also includes a dedicated merchandising area. There will be food and beverage stalls selling their products at economical rates.
The event arena is open to kids as well as families. The event will also include a special zone for kids’ entertainment. Live music will be played at the fall of the wicket or even when the batsmen hit a boundary or six. This will also include the traditional IPL hooter and respective team anthems.
Over 5000 crowd to be expected.
