PANAJI: Crime Branch Goa Unit today has arrested three Delhi natives for their involvement in cybercrime and cheating cases.
The accused have been identified as Kafil Ahmed s/o Shakeel Ahmed, Mohd. Jamal s/o Mohd Zainul, Mohammed Asif s/o Mohd. Sazzaq,
Chirag s/o Sohanlal all residents of New Delhi.
The accused were arrested from Hotel Meteden la Oasis, Anjuna Bardez Goa, all of whom are involved Hyderabad cyber crime ps cr no 237/2023, u/s 420 IPC, 43 A, 66 of IT act 2008 involving Commision of online fraud, stealing of data, cheating and running bogus call Centers in Hyderabad.
Further accused persons have been taken into custody by Hyderabad police on transit remand.
They were allegedly selling customer details to unauthorised people.
