PONDA: Goa Dairy Farmers are upset about the delay in payment during Diwali Celebrations. They said they have a lot of expenses and that Goa Dairy should clear their pending bills for the festival occasion.
The Farmers said Goa Dairy failed to deposit their money towards the milk supply into their account on the Diwali occasion. The farmers said already Diwali festival has begun, and they are still waiting to get their payment towards milk supply.
The farmers said they are suffering from inflation during the festive season and non-payment of bills causing hardship at the time of the festival.
According to farmers, at present, Goa Dairy has a board of directors working to protect milk farmers’ interests and this delay in payment can’t be understood.
