The union ministry of Jal Shakti has announced that Goa become first state in the country to provide water supply to every household.
“#JalJeevanMission #Goa becomes first ‘#HarGharJal’ State across the nation by providing assured safe water supply through tap connection to all 2.6 lakh rural households and thus, sets an example for other States.@PMOIndia @gssjodhpur @DrPramodPSawant,” tweeted Jal Jeevan Mission of Central govt.
“#JalJeevanMission Government of India announces Goa as the first State across the nation to provide 100% tap water connection to households. #HarGharJal,” tweeted Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
