PANAJI: Director General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar has been hospitalized at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, after experiencing chest pain, sources confirmed on Monday.
According to an official statement issued by Goa Police, the senior officer was admitted due to a minor health issue and is currently under observation.
“Our DGP has been admitted to GMC Bambolim for a minor health issue. After undergoing precautionary tests, he is expected to be discharged soon,” the statement read.
Medical officials are closely monitoring his condition, and his health is reported to be stable.More updates are awaited.
