FATORDA: Goa Forward Party (GFP) will unveil its candidates for the upcoming elections, a day considered auspicious due to Datta Jayanti, party leader and Chief Ministerial candidate Vijai Sardesai said.
Speaking about the party’s alliance with the Congress, Sardesai clarified that their partnership, in place since 2022, remains intact. “There have been no discussions about ending our alliance. If Congress wishes to break it, they will have to formally inform us,” he stated.
Addressing speculations about the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP), Sardesai noted that the RGP met with GFP only once and subsequently began discussions directly with Congress, excluding GFP. “If an alliance is to be formed, all three parties should come together. Until now, the RGP has not approached us. This is now a matter between the RGP and Congress, and they will have to resolve it,” he added.
