PANAJI: In a bid to boost development and welfare spending during the upcoming festive season, the Union Government has released an additional tax devolution of ₹1,01,603 crore to States. Goa’s share of this advance instalment amounts to ₹392 crore.
This release comes ahead of the regular monthly devolution scheduled for 10th October 2025. The funds are expected to support the state government in accelerating capital projects, infrastructure development, and welfare schemes, ensuring a smooth and prosperous festive period for Goans.
Goa, along with other States, is set to benefit from this proactive financial support, which aims to enhance public services and economic activity during this key time of the year.
