Panaji: On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly invited Goa U/14 teams to Goa assembly complex, which recently won the 9th Mini U/14 National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship held at Sholingpur, Tamilnadu.
The speaker felicitated all players and team officials by presenting special gifts and flowers on the occasion.
Speaking on occasion, the speaker congratulated the girl’s team for winning gold for Goa and showed guts and determination to excel at the national level..he also spoke on the importance of sports in human development.
The function was organised in the conference hall of the Goa legislative assembly today at 2.30 pm.
