PANAJI: The Government of Goa has announced with deep regret the passing of Ravi Sitaram Naik, Minister for Agriculture, Handicrafts, and Civil Supplies, on 15th October 2025.
As a mark of respect to the departed leader, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast on all buildings where it is regularly hoisted on 15th October 2025.
Further, the Government has declared a three-day State Mourning from 15th to 17th October 2025 (both days inclusive) across the state.
During this period, all official entertainment and public programmes have been suspended as a mark of solemn respect for the veteran leader.
Ravi Naik, a veteran politician, was widely respected for his decades of service to Goa’s public life, leaving an indelible mark on the state’s governance and development.
