PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that
Government of Goa in all ways shall support establishments to implement on-job training Programs like NAPS, NATS.
“Government in all ways shall support establishments to implement on-job training Programs like NAPS, NATS & Earn while you learn programs,” said Sawant.
He further said that the Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Policy is empowering youth through skill enhancement and industry exposure.
“I am sure the industries shall actively engage in the program, and benefit from the contribution of youth and support them in skill enhancement with industrial exposure,” he added.
Sawant said that the apprenticeship programme of the government is very important and an apprenticeship experience certificate is compulsory for you to get a government job.
Sawant said that students who have cleared Class XII, completed an ITI course, or have graduated can register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal.
“You should grab this opportunity. Thousands of youth have availed themselves of the benefits of the scheme and are currently undergoing apprenticeships in government departments and private companies across Goa.” he said.
