PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that his government will not compromise on the house demolition matter case at Assagao and that culprits will be taken to task.
CM Sawant was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a government event.
“My government will not not compromise on the house demolition matter case at Assagao and that culprits will be taken to task,” said Sawant.
He further said that police teams have been dispatched to Mumbai and Belgaum.
“If the family wants to compromise, it is their choice but the state government won’t bow down’ he added.
Sawant said that strict action would be initiated on those involved in this entire conspiracy. No one will be spared and no dadagiri against Goans will be tolerated, Sawant said.
Regarding the land dispute said, “They let the civil matter regarding the property continue in courts. But no one will be allowed to take law into their own hands.”
