PANAJI: Minister for Industries Mauvin Godinho said Goa has all sorts of infrastructure required for industrial growth.
“Goa has all sorts of infrastructure required for industrial growth. I urged investors from all over to invest in the industrial sector and become partners in Goa’s industrial growth,” said Godinho.
He further said that let’s grow together to boost the nation’s economy.
Godinho said that 15 companies have given a letter of intent for putting up carefully chosen Eco-Friendly industries in Goa.
“New Industrial Policy with several provisions for Ease of Doing Business has been notified. Govt aims to make Goa one of the biggest logistic hubs in the country and is working toward providing multimodal transport options, ease of travelling etc., in view of this,” said Godinho.
The Minister said that this would help create job opportunities for Goans and arrest migration.
“After Mopa Airport is commissioned, we will have to revive the infrastructure of Goa. We will have to increase tourism facilities. Even the central government will have to help us with this,” Godinho said.
