DABOLIM/MOPA: Passengers travelling through Goa’s airports are facing major disruptions as several international flight services have been cancelled over the coming days, impacting connectivity to key Gulf destinations.
According to an advisory issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), all Gulf Air flights operating between Bahrain and Dabolim have been cancelled until March 26, 2026. Air India Express has also suspended its Dubai–Dabolim services until March 28, 2026.
In addition to these cancellations, multiple other international routes have been affected. Air Arabia’s Sharjah–Mopa service, Qatar Airways’ Doha–Mopa flights, and several Dubai sector operations have also been disrupted, further limiting travel options for passengers.
At present, Oman Air’s Muscat–Mopa service remains the only operational international connection from Goa, offering limited relief amid widespread cancellations.
The disruptions are expected to significantly impact passengers travelling to and from the Gulf region, a crucial corridor for both tourism and Goan expatriates.
Authorities have urged travellers to verify their flight status with respective airlines and make necessary rebooking arrangements before heading to the airport to avoid inconvenience.
