PANAJI: The 18th edition of the Digital Technology Conclave (DTC), organized by GovConnect in collaboration with Goa Electronics Limited, was held in Goa today. The forum brought together senior policymakers, government officials, and industry leaders to discuss the future of digital governance in India.
The conclave opened with a session titled “From Digital India to Viksit Bharat – A Unified Vision for Governance Transformation,” which sparked discussions on digital governance, cybersecurity, next-generation public infrastructure, and the role of emerging technologies in enhancing citizen services.
Rohan A. Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, IT, E&C, and Printing & Stationery, Government of Goa, emphasized the state’s growing role in India’s digital roadmap. He was joined by Vanlalthlana, Minister of Information & Communication Technology, School Education, Higher and Technical Education, and Information and Public Relations, Government of Mizoram, along with Revati Kumar, CEO & Executive Director of Goa Electronics Limited, and other senior officials and industry experts.
“Today, we reaffirm our vision of moving from Digital India to Viksit Bharat. Through AI and emerging technologies, Goa is making governance inclusive, transparent, and closer to the people. Aligned with the Goa AI Mission 2027, we are building a smarter, future-ready state where technology drives growth and empowers every citizen. AI in governance is not just about efficiency, but about creativity, inclusivity, and transformation. Goa, with its spirit of creativity, openness, and resilience, is ready to lead this change,” Khaunte said.
The conclave featured panel discussions and presentations on AI-Driven Governance, Cyber Resilience, Generative AI & Disruptive Technologies, and The Digital Future of Governance with Citizen-Centric Services. Sessions provided actionable insights on leveraging AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and secure digital infrastructure to strengthen governance, public service delivery, and economic resilience.
By hosting this national platform, Goa has reinforced its position as a key player in India’s digital growth story, offering opportunities for collaboration, investment, and innovation that can enhance the state’s ecosystem and benefit its citizens.
