PANAJI: Health Minsiter Vishwajit Rane said that Goa is actively working towards TB elimination, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a TB Mukt Bharat.

He further said that with 84% of the vulnerable population already screened, the state is prioritizing early detection and timely treatment.
“Through awareness campaigns, targeted interventions and strategic collaborations, efforts are being intensified to ensure no individual is left undiagnosed or untreated,” he added
As we move forward with 100 Days For TB Elimination, Rane said that Goa remains committed to strengthening healthcare services and accelerating progress to end TB.
He also said that they are taking concrete steps to promote mental wellness by introducing a holistic approach at South Goa District Hospital.
The newly inaugurated Panchakarma Unit integrates Aroma Therapy and Music Therapy to help ease stress, anxiety, and insomnia.
“With the rising challenges of modern life, we are committed to expanding such initiatives to ensure better mental well-being for Goans,” he added
Vishwajit also said that as Health Minister, his top priority is providing the best medical care to our people.
“With free cancer screening, TB diagnosis and other essential services, we remain committed to ensure the quality healthcare for all.” he said
