VASCO: Raksha Mantri of India Rajnath Singh comments that some people consider Goa as “Golgappa” an easy thing; that’s why various political parties from Delhi and Bengal have come to Goa.
Singh urged the Vasco people to vote for BJP for bringing a stable and corruption-free government in Goa.
In the public meeting held in Port town on Wednesday evening, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh, in his address, made a statement that some people feel Goa as a “Golgappa” an easy thing various political parties are coming to Goa.
He said a bus coming from Delhi to Goa is driven by Kejriwal, and a bus coming from Bengal to Goa by Mamata didi. But people must not forget that BJP is the only political party that could give Goa good stable governance.
Singh further condemned the allegations made by the opposition political parties on the BJP of doing communal politics. He added that the BJP party doesn’t do communal politics but believes in the nation’s unity and considers the whole world their home. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi’s BJP government, the message has gone to the world that India has become a strong country.
Commenting on the development and good governance, Singh said that the Modi government took up a challenge after coming to power to eliminate corruption from the system and brought some reforms for a good, effective government.
BJP brought various welfare schemes which reached out to the people. He further pointed out that various major issues such as special status to Kashmir, Citizenship amendment bill, Ram temple in Ayodhya etc. become possible in the BJP government.
Earlier, Rajnath Singh appreciated the Goans’ simplicity and straightforwardness, citing the example of the Former Chief Minister of Goa, Late Manohar Parrikar, who he said was very close to him. Parrikar was a non-corrupt and honest politician,” Singh said.
Singh also said that Goa is a tourism-friendly state, and under the BJP government, tourists feel at home in Goa. Earlier, Union Minister for Tourism, Kishan Reddy, stated that looking at the people’s response at the public meeting, it is clear that Krishna Salkar, BJP candidate, will win in Vasco.
He further said that there have been several surveys circulating about poll results, but the fact is that BJP will get an absolute majority this time.
Reddy further said during Congress tenure, it was corruption Raj in Goa, but in BJP tenure, it was Vikas Raj. BJP has given tourism, religious, cultural friendly government in Goa. It has also shown good road connectivity with better, wider roads. New educational institutions, hospitals, sports stadiums etc., have come up,” he said.
Krishna( Daji) Salkar, Vasco BJP candidate, said that for the past 10 years, Vasco people suffered despite having BJP MLA, and we need to forget it as a nightmare and now should move forward. The former BJP MLA of Vasco has joined other political parties and now telling stories to the people.
