PANAJI: Indian Singer Composer Shankar Mahadevan today said that Goa lacks proper facilities for music learning.
“Goa is a cultural hub and I have performed here in Goa with different avatars. I think Goa should have proper music learning facilities,” said Mahadevan
He further said that he has put in his views with the authority and that we should hope for the best.
“We should not only set up academy but performance venues as well. You need a good music institute here in Goa wherein you can even call international students,” he added
Shankar said that people look at music in a way of respect.
“A lot of international students should come here but there should be a facility.
Good Institutes where there is a good faculty,” he added
The academy owned by Mahadevan has 34000+ students from 81 countries across 24 geographic time zones to pursue their passion for music from the convenience of their homes. The academy offers over 466 courses and has delivered more than 163,000 online classes.
