PANAJI: Goa is all set to welcome tourists for the year-end festive season with its new campaign, “Feels Like Goa”, highlighting the state’s cultural richness, spiritual heritage, and vibrant traditions. The initiative seeks to evoke nostalgia and reconnect travelers with the authentic Goa beyond its famous beaches—celebrating its communities, festivals, cuisine, and soulful experiences.
The campaign reflects Goa’s move towards regenerative tourism, focusing on people, culture, and the environment. It positions Goa as an emotional experience rather than just a destination, aiming to attract domestic and international visitors while supporting local communities and businesses.
Speaking about the initiative, Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said, “With ‘Feels Like Goa’, we are bringing back the essence of what makes Goa truly unique: its people, culture, traditions, and soul. As the year draws to a close, we want visitors to rediscover that feeling of homecoming that only Goa can offer.”
Director of Tourism Kedar Naik added, “This campaign represents a strategic step towards meaningful and regenerative tourism experiences that reflect Goa’s authentic identity. Through collaborations with airlines, hotels, and tour operators, we aim to remind travelers that Goa is not just a place, it’s a feeling.”
In tandem with the campaign, the Government of Goa has laid the foundation for several key projects, including the Unity Mall, Porvorim Town Square, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Digital Museum, enhancing the state’s multi-dimensional tourism offerings.
The “Feels Like Goa” campaign aims to bridge nostalgia and new memories, celebrating Goa’s enduring spirit through its churches, sunsets, village lanes, and festive gatherings. The Department of Tourism hopes the initiative will strengthen tourist arrivals while reaffirming Goa as a destination that offers emotion, connection, and a sense of belonging like no other.
