PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that Goa would see the establishment of an agriculture and horticulture university.
“Goa might soon see the establishment of an agriculture and horticulture university. We will sign an MoU with Konkan Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Dapoli, and start the institution by June this year,” said CM Sawant.
Speaking further, Sawant said that 1.3 lakh of the 3.5 lakh water meter holders in the state have benefitted from the 16,000-liter free water scheme of the state government.
“This ‘Save water get free water’ scheme of the govt has benefited 1.3 lakh meter holders. Only certain people like those who had a single water meter and multiple families staying on rent had issues. Some other problems were there which have been resolved by Minister Cabral,” he added.
