PANAJI: The State of Goa, through the Investigation Officer, has approached the High Court seeking cancellation of bail granted to accused Ajay Gupta in a document forgery case registered by the Mapusa Police.
Acting on the petition, the High Court has issued a notice to Ajay Gupta and scheduled the matter for hearing on May 4.
The state has urged the court to revoke the bail, citing grounds linked to the ongoing investigation in the case.
