PANAJI: The Goa Pavilion was adjudged as the best pavilion for Excellence in Display under Thematic presentation (State) at the 42nd edition of India International Trade Fair, 2023 which concluded at the iconic Pragati Maidan in New Delhi yesterday.
The Special Appreciation Award was presented by the Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola.
It may be noted that the Goa pavilion was set up on a space measuring 100 Sq. mts. in Hall No. 3 which was aesthetically designed by M/s. Advertising Associates, one of the reputed agencies from Goa, involved in executing similar works for the last many years.
The Goa pavilion was inaugurated by Dipak Bandekar, Director, Department of Information and Publicity on November 14, 2023, being the Nodal Department for participation in this mega trade fair.
During the 14-day trade fair, the Goa pavilion received an overwhelming response which laid thrust on showcasing key initiatives of the Goa Government particularly in the area of infrastructure development, Tourism, Industries, Schemes and Policies of the Government so as to attract investment in the industrial sector and boost tourism activity in Goa in a big way.
The Goa pavilion also witnessed a large footfall at the Trade Fair as it provided visitors including domestic and international with information particularly related to the Tourism and Industrial Sector. Similarly, the visitors were successfully engaged with the presentation of the rich cultural traditions of Goa by the artists.
