MAPUSA: Mapusa police has arrested a Bangladeshi national moving around in the city suspiciously without valid documents.
As per SDPO Mapuca Jivba Dalvi on December 6 staff of Mapusa Police Station intercepted one Bangladeshi National, who was moving in Mapusa City without
valid documents i.e. Passport, visa.
In this respect Mapusa Police Station registered offence U/sec 14 of Foreigner Act 1946, 6(a) of Passport Entry into India Rules 1950 registered.
Bangladesh National Mohammad Jahangir Mondal @ Jahagir Mondal, aged 24 years , arrested in crime.
Further, investigation it is revealed that Mr. Mohammad Jahangir Mondal @Jahagir Mondal, was previously convicted by JMFC, Vasco and was thereafter
deported from India through FRRO, Panaji.
Mohammad Jahangir Mondal who is daily wages worker came into India by walking through fields and
thereafter travelled to Goa by trains.
Team consisting of PSI Dineshkumar Mukhiya, HC Sushant Chopdekar, Tukaram Shirdokar had successfully arrested Bangladesh National during beat patrolling in Mapuca City.
Investigation is in progress under Supervision of PI Shitakant Nayak, DySP Jivba Dalvi, SP North Akshat Kaushal IPS.
