ANJUNA: The police have detained five employees of the Sunburn organizers in relation to the purported theft of permits worth Rs. 82 lakh.
A official complaint was filed against the accused on the Police Inspector’s orders at the Anjuna Police Station.
Arvind Kumar Mishra filed the complaint on Friday, claiming that Shivam Chari, Mahesh Gawas, Manjit Gawas, Yashin Mulla, and Sidhhanagouda Hanchinal were involved in the theft of 600 Sunburn passes, which were worth a total of Rs. 82,50,000.
On the direction of the Police Inspector (PI) of the Anjuna Police Station, a formal complaint was filed against the parties involved.
These workers, who report to the complainant, are accused in the complaint of planning the theft of Sunburn passes, which are essential for event access and revenue production.
