MAPUSA: Upon specific information, Goa Police Crime Branch team led by Pl, Laxi Amonkar and staff conducted a narcotic raid at Marod junction, an open parking place, Mapusa Bardez Goa.
The Crime Branch caught a red-handed one. Ashok Lagad s/o Baban Lagad, Age 52 years R/o 1268, Vethekarwadi, Kolgaon, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra with contraband, i.e. “Ganja” weighing 2.250 kilograms all worth Rs. 2,25,000/-
Further investigation of the case is in progress with PI Dinesh Gadekar under the supervision of Addl. Supdt. Of Police, Crime, Shri Raju Raut Desai and Supdt. Of Police, Crime, Shri Nidhin Valsan.
