PANAJI: Director General of Police Alok Kumar today said that the Goa Police are making steady progress in the Mapusa dacoity case, with several vital clues and pieces of evidence already collected.
He confirmed that three individuals have been arrested so far, and preliminary investigations suggest their direct involvement in the crime. “Further arrests are expected as the investigation unfolds,” the DGP stated.
Kumar also said that the police are simultaneously investigating the Honda Narkasur incident, assuring that a charge sheet will be filed once the inquiry is complete.
The DGP reiterated the department’s commitment to ensuring that both cases are pursued swiftly and thoroughly to bring all culprits to justice.
